Raised in Dundalk, Hannah graduated from Eastern Technical High School in 2021 before beginning her work as a Teacher Assistant at Wise Early Learning Center, her obituary says.

Hannah loved music, softball, going to the beach, and above all, spending time with her family and friends.

Hannah’s positivity knew no bounds, as did her compassionate heart, even after receiving her diagnosis of Fibrolamellar Carcinoma in November 2021, says her memorial.

“In her battle with cancer, Hannah showed incredible strength and resilience,” reads her obituary. “She never gave up hope and always remained optimistic, even in the face of great adversity…She was an inspiration to all who knew her and her memory will continue to inspire us all.”

Hannah’s surviving family members include her loving parents, Bill and Jen ‘Linda’ Strehlein; her siblings, Kendall (10) and Avery (8) Strehlein and Rebecca (12) and Samantha (6) McIntosh; her grandparents; her birth mother, Jennifer VanBuskirk and partner Bob McIntosh; her boyfriend, Hunter Koller; her ‘fur baby,’ Raven, and many more.

“She graced us a mere 20 years and changed the world for the better,” reads her obituary. “We are all better people for knowing her. Those who cared for Hannah in her last days and hours fought the fight with her. She was never alone.”

Hannah’s funeral was scheduled for Wednesday, May 3 at the Duda-Ruck Funeral Home of Dundalk.

Donations can be made in Hannah’s memory to the Fibrofighters.
